Upgrade Phone Software

• 1). Press the "Home" button, then tap the "Main" tab.
  
  
• 2). Tap "Settings," then tap "General."
  
  
• 3). Tap "Update Software," then wait for the Instinct to check for new software.
  
  
• 4). Confirm that you want to install the new updates. Updates will be downloaded and installed on the Instinct.
  
  
• 5). Power off the Samsung Instinct, then power it back on after one minute.
  
  

Upgrade the Data Profile

• 1). Press the "Home" button, then tap the "Main" tab.
  
  
• 2). Tap "Settings," then tap "General."
  
  
• 3). Tap "Updata Data Profile," then wait for the update to complete.
  
  
• 4). Power off the Samsung Instinct, then power it back on after one minute.
  
  

Upgrade the PRL

• 1). Press the "Home" button, then tap "Settings."
  
  
• 2). Tap "General," then "Update PRL."
  
  
• 3). Wait for the PRL to be updated, then press the "Home" button to exit to the main screen.
