Being an avid wrestling fan to join the industry in anyway shape or form there are a few simple skills you need to have to get your foot in the door.
In this short list I have assemble 7 skills you need to get your start and to succeed in Wrestling.
Computer skills: Having a background in Microsoft products is always necessary in this industry.
It is also for this industry that you have the willingness to expand upon these backgrounds.
An example is no matter how much you know about excel you can always try to further your skills in this program.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to new situations and challenges; embrace change and be open to new ideas.
Managing multiple tasks, priorities, and assignments is an ability that most employees can't prove they have.
Let your employer know that you thrive to be in changing environments and like to be creativity with your work.
Experience: Be as active as possible.
Lend a helping hand and volunteer when you can.
The more experience you have over the next guy can win you a job in a land slide.
Do internships or find a way to jump off the page.
Get a feel of what a typical work day feels like in the sport industry.
Employers will relate to you more if they know you have worked in sports before.
Bachelor Degree or Better: I know this is not a skill, but this is life blood of your possible career.
A majority of jobs within wrestling requires that you have a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or related field.
Communication: The major issue with the wrestling industry is communication.
In wrestling terminology and the ability to give a message is what this industry is about.
An example is as simple as when a match is or how it is supposed to end.
Flexible hours: OK in this industry your career can begin and end in an instant.
The most import thing to remember is the job is hard to get but harder to maintain.
This means overall that you have to be willing to put the extra hours in.
Role as a Team Player: It's ironic that in the wrestling business you would think about teams but to know how to work with people can further your career or make it short.
As a team player you have to be able to form synergy in whatever job you are working in because as they say on WWE Programming "The World is Watching!!!" In this set of skills if followed strictly you will have a career in wrestling.
