Sleep experts all agree on one thing that establishing a regular bedtime and rising time is the first and most important step to cure sleepless nights.
An import question that is raised often is whether sex just before trying to go to sleep can interfere with having that perfect nights sleep.
One of the most common things to avoid just before sleep is physical and mental stimulation, but more importantly do not avoid sex (more will be revealed below).
Too much exercise close to bedtime stimulates the release of adrenalin and energizes your body.
If you want to do aerobic type exercises this needs to be performed around six hours before bedtime.
On the other hand mental stimulation gets your mind racing, watching television, planning tomorrow's events and the like does not give you adequate time for your mind to disengage before trying to sleep.
Research has proven that sexually activity just before sleep actually releases hormones that make you relaxed and mellow.
Lovemaking before sleep can be a perfect sleep inducer, but only if you gain satisfaction from it.
Never make the sex the sole reason to induce sleep.
This will more than likely cause the opposite effect One last thing to remember is the bedroom should not be a place to eat, read, talk on the phone or watch TV as all these can all contribute to sleeping problems.
Sleep therapists insist that if our minds are programmed for sleep and sex only in the bedroom, we are well on our way to less sleepless nights.
