Loose Grip Pressure - Easier Said Than Done

If you have played golf for very long at all and searched for golf tips, then I am sure you have heard that you need loose grip pressure.
Instructors and pros will tell you that a relaxed grip will allow you to swing the club more freely.
I am having a hard time learning and applying this.
I feel like loosening my grip will result in less control over the golf club.
Oh, I know in my head that tension will hurt my swing.
It is just trying to get that through to my body that is the difficult part.
I recently found a video golf tip that has helped me.
I like how the instructor equated the amount of loose grip pressure to a number.
That helps me get a feel for the concept.
I wished he would have demonstrated it with a full swing.
What I really would like to see is a super slow motion video of a golf swing with too much grip pressure.
And then show the same golfer using the correct loose grip pressure.
Maybe then it would make more sense to me.
I would love to be able to freeze frame at the top of the backswing or at the moment of impact.
When I watch video of Tiger Woods or many of the other touring PGA pros, it sure looks like their forearms are very tense.
Obviously the concept needs to be explained and demonstrated to me differently.
I guess I will continue to ask questions and seek out other golf tips until that light bulb goes off over my little head.
Of all of the golf tips on loose grip pressure, I think I liked this one the best.
Stop by my website and take a look to see if it helps you too.
