How to Glue Arizona Flagstone Together
- 1). Lay the first layer of the Arizona flagstone on the ground.
- 2). Cut the tip off the end of a tube of stone glue at a 45-degree angle with the utility knife. Insert the tube into the caulk gun. Press the trigger until the force plate contacts the bottom of the tube.
- 3). Insert a nail into the cut end of the tube to puncture the seal.
- 4). Run a bead of glue around the perimeter of the first stone. Leave a 1/2-inch gap between the edge of the stone and the glue. Run a second bead of glue inside the first bead of glue. Repeat this step on the second stone.
- 5). Set the next piece of stone on top of the two with the glue. Tap on the top of the stone with the rubber mallet to adhere the glue to the stone.
- 6). Glue and set the remaining stones to complete the wall. Allow the glue to cure for six to seven days.
