Teddy decides to enlist Gabe and his friend Jake to sneak in to a PG-13 rated movie so that she can use it to win an internship at a local news station. In the meantime, Amy decides to splurge on a pair of heels costing $400, with the intention to return them after her party. Unfortunately, Charlie finds them and ruins the shoes, much to her dismay. Meanwhile, PJ reunites with an old kindergarten classmate and tries to make amends for cutting his ponytail all those years ago.

In this Good Luck Charlie Season 2 episode, Charlie manages to put Teddy's beloved laptop into the dishwasher while Teddy is doing the dishes. As a result, all the video diaries have been wiped from the device by the time Amy discovers it in the dishwasher. Teddy and Amy decide to stay up all night in an attempt to salvage the video diaries for Charlie. When PJ arrives home from the Kwikki Chikki college, he tells them that it's actually his laptop that has been placed in the dishwasher, because he accidentally took Teddy's by mistake. In the meantime, Gabe has been staying in PJ's room while he's been attending college.
