      The Carnival Cruise Line 5-Day Western Caribbean from Galveston, Texas, departs from October through August with stops in Progresso and Cozumel, Mexico. Progresso sits along the coast of the Gulf of Mexico and features easy access to Mayan sites and excellent beaches. Cozumel has long been known as a diving paradise and a seaside tourist town.

      Onboard the massive 110,000-ton Carnival Conquest, the Carnival Cruise Line 7-Day Western Caribbean from Galveston departs almost weekly all year round. The boat stops in Montego Bay, Jamaica; Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands; and Cozumel, Mexico, during a loop-shaped itinerary from and to Galveston.

      Royal Caribbean Cruise Line's 7-Night Western Caribbean Cruise onboard the Voyager of the Seas is a year-round sailing that visits Cozumel, Mexico, George Town, Grand Cayman, and Montego Bay, Jamaica, over a slow-paced jaunt through the Caribbean Sea.

      The mega-large 138,000-ton Voyager of the Seas was built in 1999 and refurbished in 2004. For a short time when built, it was the largest cruise ship in the world.
