You have planned for months and now the fear is setting in.
Will my wedding day be as perfect as I have pictured it to be? Your file is stuffed with contracts and ideas.
You have planned everything as carefully as you can to make sure your day is perfect, but now the panic is setting in.
You are starting to wonder how all of these details will actually come together on the big day.
To ensure that you have a flawless wedding day, free of anxiety and panic attacks, here are a few simple ways to ensure your day is as wonderful as you have pictured.
About one month before your wedding day, compile a final, detailed wedding-day schedule and start to share your vision with your wedding party.
Engage your wedding party to help oversee things that you may not be able to see prior to your wedding day.
Out-line the entire day from the time you wake up to the time the reception is over.
Note all of the details of how you want things to happen and how you want things displayed.
Write down how you picture each event from your makeup and hair to the cutting of the cake.
Take time to visualizing your entire day and express your wishes to your family and wedding party, this will help keep things on track and ensure the day ends up like the fairtale you have dreamed of.
Once your details are neatly laid out on paper, you will be able to see where you can delegate tasks and refine some ideas to help the upcoming day flow best.
Others may be able to see changes or glitches that could be made and help to fix them before the day arrives.
Make a list of the phone numbers of all of your vendors and the times that each vendor is due to arrive to set up and where.
If any questions arise, someone in your wedding party can assist in the set up or help with calling them if needed.
This will free you up to enjoy the day as it unfolds Give a list to each vendor, from your florist to your Photographer on what you remember from your meeting with them and the agreements that were made.
Include your wedding date, their set up time, agreed cost/fees, length of time they will be at the wedding reception and any other details you may have discussed.
Ask each vendor to look over the list for accuracy and inform you of any changes or missunderstandings ahead of time.
Be sure that everyone scheduled to help you on your wedding day has a fresh new list that you can hand out at the rehearsal dinner, this way it will be fresh on everyones mind for the next day.
Make sure you have listed again what they can do to help and what you picture their duties will be on that day.
Some of your wedding party will be more involved than others, but don't be afraid to ask for help and support.
Write down the times your wedding party and family are expected to arrive at the church, what time they should be dressed and ready for pictures and any other details that they will need to remember.
Being prepared will relieve stress from you and make your wedding party accountable for themselves.
The more prepared you are before the wedding will make for a peaceful, beautiful and problem free wedding day.
Remember, on the day of your wedding, go with the flow! You have worked hard for this day, but not all aspects of the wedding will be exactly how you have pictured it.
Just remember to have fun, enjoy the day, because after all, this is your special day!
