The Sugar Busters Diet offers an interesting principle behind weight loss - cutting sugar to shed extra pounds.
The authors behind this book believes that sugar, especially refined ones, can mess with your bodily functions and biochemical processes therefore leading you down the road of high cholesterol, diabetes, and other serious illnesses.
Although drastically reducing sugar intake is the main premise of this book, it also encourages you to cut calories by paying close attention to the portion of every food that you eat.

The Sugar Busters Diet is no different from other programs because it basically prohibits the dieter from eating the same foods such as carrots, bread baked from refined flour, honey, molasses, potatoes, corn, beer, and refined sugar.
The game plan is to subsist mostly on fruits, fish, lean meats, vegetables with high fiber, whole grains, and red wine.
