Andrea Toyias, owner and designer of the Silent Revolution line, was kind enough to talk to us about accessory tips and trends.

What trends in handbags seem to be rising in popularity?

The bag trend that seems to be on the rise is the need for our everyday bag to accommodate all of our girlie "tech needs." With our cell phones, iPods and Blackberries becoming more and move invaluable to us, bags need to offer easy access and protection for these extensions of ourselves.

All of our bags feature numerous padded tech pockets to protect our connectivity, and all of our bags also feature a rear rubber headphone port for easy music listening on the go.

One of our most popular bags is the "Ammo Bag". It’s a small little everyday bag that can be worn around the hips, across the back or over the shoulder. This bag is an ideal "gadget" bag as it features numerous interior pockets with a specially sized padded iPod/iPhone pocket.

What statement bag do you think every woman should own?

We think that every woman needs a big, bold bag for everyday wear. Something fun, colorful and striking can enhance any look whether it be casual or evening. We designed our "Saturn Tote" to be just that bag. It offers simple design, enhanced function (also doubles as laptop tote), striking colorways, and sculptural fabric. This bag adds a fun, sleek, sophisticated look to any outfit!

What other accessory tips or trends can you provide?

We can’t get enough of clutches! During the day, they are our make-up bag or our coin purse in our bigger "da" bag. Come night time, they morph into a slinky little number to carry our basics for a night out. They are a very fun and very versatile accessory! So clutches – we just simply can’t have enough!
