This is Still the Century of Peace, My Loved Ones
They lived through hard economic times and wars.
Stories of genocide and blitzkriegs filled the news and it seemed the Nazis would conquer the world with their hate and terrorizing, during their lives.
It now seems that our world is spinning out of control and beyond anything we can do to stop it, but there is a balance in the universe that outweighs all the machinations of humankind, and it will bring the world back to its center.
It just takes time.
The fear that the economic woes and financial crisis have created is palpable.
You can feel it creeping into hearts and the uncertainty of the future has many people worried.
Just remember, in the natural world, every action causes an equal and opposite reaction.
Many of the things we fear do not come to pass.
Despite the bad news from Wall Street and world markets, the sun will still shine tomorrow, in the Northern hemisphere the autumn leaves will still display their glorious colors.
Your life will continue and there will be happy times and sad times.
The people who told us those stories lived through those times and could even sometimes laugh about the way they lived and what they did to survive.
It will be the same for most of us.
One of the positive things that will result from this financial crisis is that people will once again begin to question where all the wealth and resources go in this world.
War is a waste of resources and produces nothing but hate, fear, and more wars.
The financial crisis, call it a meltdown, is just one of the steps toward peace in the century of peace.
It will bring a consciousness of the expense and foolishness of war.
In "Your Loved Ones, Yourself; Finding and Raising the Family Within," I stated that it may take a crisis to finally bring about world peace.
This economic turmoil may be part of that peace process.
nothing is wasted, including fear, worry, uncertainty, they eventually lead to thoughtfulness, better planning, and individual growth.
This is still the century of peace, my Loved Ones.
