Uma Thurman joins the award-winning stars of "The Producers" - Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick - for the 2005 big screen version of Mel Brooks' hit Broadway musical comedy, which was based on the 1968 film starring Gene Wilder and Zero Mostel. That may sound confusing for those trying to keep score, but really it's not. The film was so popular it spawned the stage show, which in turn proved to be the perfect fodder for another movie version.

Not only does Uma Thurman get to dance in "The Producers," she also gets to show off her impressive set of pipes. In an interview with About's Staci Wilson, Thurman spoke about the opportunity to sing in a feature film. Wilson also sat down with Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick to hear what the multi-talented actors had to say about the transition from playing the roles on stage to playing them in the new movie.
