How to Increase Affiliate Sales Conversions
It is quite simple really.
In order to sell a product effectively, be it online or offline, you need to buy the product and try it out yourself.
This is how it is done in brick and mortar sales and the same principle applies to online businesses as well.
Would you buy a product from someone who had not tried it out himself? Most probably not.
You might say that reading the product reviews is enough to keep you knowledgeable and qualifies you to sell it to anyone.
That would be OK in a seller's viewpoint.
But generally buyers would prefer to buy a product from someone who had actually used it before.
Without the experience of using it, you might get a few sales here and there and if your copywriting is great you might even get a lot of sales.
But if you actually used the product yourself, you are in a better position to promote it because you will have a more in-depth knowledge about the product.
Add this knowledge into what you are already featuring in your copywriting and it will just give your conversion rates and sales a boost.
Even if your conversion rate increases by 20%, which is modest in my estimation, would be great, wouldn't you think? And if your customers have questions about the product, or those who have purchased them came to you with problems, you are in a better position to answer to them correctly because you have been there.
Your answers will be more trustworthy and congruent.
You can help your readers by explaining to them the downside of the product and how to overcome the problems.
They will be able to know if you have used the products yourself in your response and answers.
This will create trust between you and your reader which will eventually end up in sales or recommendations or even future sales with a new product.
What is basically happening is that you are building a trustworthy relationship with them which will only benefit you in the long run.
