The things you need in setting up a blog are: a domain name, Hosting and design.
It is not expensive to setup a blog of your own and can be done in just few minutes.
Let me explain the three basic things you need to get started and blog your way to profits.
Step One: Get a Domain name A Domain name is the web address where people can reach you online.
Domain names are relatively cheap and it usually cost less than $10.
I suggest you get your domain name through GoDaddy.
Step Two: Choose a Blog Host Once you have gotten a domain name, the next thing you need to do is to host your blog to the internet.
They are different kinds of hosting services that can help you maintain and host your blog.
Most importantly, only use a hosting company that offers cPanel hosting.
I recommend using HostGator.
Step Three: Install your WordPress Blog Installing a WordPress blog is easy as ABC and isn't as difficult as you may think.
Once you log in to your cPanel, there is a script called Fantastico that helps you to install your WordPress blog as easy as 1-2-3.
When you click on 'Fantastico' section on cPanel then click 'WordPress' and 'new installation'.
Then your WordPress Blog has been Installed.
Step Four: Get a Theme Design The final thing you need to do is get a good theme design.
You need to get a good theme design so as to convince your blog visitors.
They are lots of free and paid themes but I suggest you go for a paid theme design.
They come with good designs and make your blog stand out of the crowd.
They have lots of creative and nice designs that makes your blog looks good and attractive.
They also lots of free WordPress themes that are also nice and cool, all you have to do is search for them on Google.
