So you want to be a Rock Star
Adventures in Awesome Living
by Sunil Bali, Chief Energy Officer, 10-07-11
I've got two options for you:
Option 1 - I'll give you £2.5 million today or,
Option2 - I'll give you a penny today and double that penny every day for a month (31 days).
Which option would you take?
On Day 28 that magical doubling penny is worth £1,342,177.28.
On Day 31 it's worth £10,737,418.24.
It's amazing what those last few days do for us, isn't it?
If you go about producing your art each day in a professional and disciplined manner, then over the long run, you'll be way ahead of those that try and become rock stars overnight. Playing the pubs and clubs gives you the best odds if you want to be a rock star.
If you want to show us your genius, be that rock star, business tycoon, or anything else for that matter, then may I suggest you read the brilliant The War of Art: Break Through the Blocks and Win Your Inner Creative Battles
Quotes
