Boyer Historical Museum, indoor amusement parks and the Hereford Inlet Lighthouse. - Directly on the boardwalk of North Wildwood, New Jersey, the Montego Bay Resort Indoor Pool & Waterpark allows tourists to get out of the hot summer sun for fun indoor water activities. The indoor waterpark is outfitted with a large indoor pool, a jacuzzi, water slide, tiki bar and three 42-inch high-definition TVs. No matter how the weather is outside, you can enjoy this indoor facility and lifeguards are always on duty when the pool is open. There is even a recreation room available to rent for private parties.

The museum brings vintage photographs and memorabilia to the local landscape. Guests are encouraged to take a full tour of this museum to see how Wildwood was formed by builders, architects and other individuals. By viewing historical photographs showing the construction of hotels, restaurants and the amusement parks of Wildwood, tourists get a glimpse of the small city's past. From October 1 to April 30, the museum is open from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM. From May 1 to September 30 the museum is open from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday; 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM, Saturday and Sunday; and 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM on Friday nights.

the-wildwoods.com/history/museum.html - Built in 1872 to prevent ships from coming in too close to the New Jersey shore, the Hereford Inlet Lighthouse is located in the Village of Angelsea, in Wildwood. This lighthouse was placed on the National Register of Historical Places in 1964 and became a tourist destination later that year. Visitors can take a guided tour of this still-working lighthouse and can get a look into the historical significance of the Hereford Inlet Lighthouse while going up into the main section of the lighthouse itself. A large gift shop outfitted with nautical books, art works, lighthouse miniatures and other memorabilia can be purchased after taking the tour. Visiting hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM every day of the week.
