15+ Things To Do In Phoenix This Weekend

106 22

If you can't find something to do in and around Phoenix on any given weekend then you just aren't trying. Even in the awful heat of summer, there are indoor and evening activities to keep you from going stir crazy. In the fall and spring, when the weather is, for the most part, wonderful, you could run from event to festival to workshop to hike to activity and never get to them all.

Each month there are events that repeat every year.

Those are typically the larger festivals, sporting events and holiday celebrations.

Check the main August events calendar for:
Arizona Cardinals Training Camp, Arizona Diamondbacks Baseball, Rookie League Baseball, Arizona United Soccer, Chandler Symphony Summer Concert, art festivals/shows/walks, community concerts, Cool Summer Nights at CityScape, flashlight tours, Meet Me Downtown Walk, Hell City Tattoo Fest, movies in parks, National Parks Free Admission Day, Grossology at Arizona Science Center.

The August concert/show calendar includes big name bands, comedians, touring theatre productions and other major performances at larger venues taking place in the Valley of the Sun.

The following list includes events, fundraisers, runs, and activities that might be one-time events, smaller community festivals, community theatre or other activities taking place in the coming week that might be of interest.
