The Secret to Applying a Protector on the iTouch
- 1). Clean the touch-screen thoroughly using a microfiber cloth and ensuring no finger marks or dust particles are present on the glass surface.
- 2). Peel the backing off the screen protector approximately one inch from the bottom edge. Fold the backing back on itself so it doesn't get in the way as you apply the screen protector to the glass surface. The bottom edge of the protector can be identified by the circular cutout for the home button.
- 3). Align the edge of the screen protector to the bottom edge of the touch-screen and run the microfiber cloth horizontally across the exposed surface of the protector to press it down securely onto the glass.
- 4). Peel the backing off the screen protector very slowly, running the microfiber cloth horizontally over the surface as you work your way along the touch-screen.
- 5). Work any air bubbles out to the edges using the microfiber cloth once the screen protector has been fully applied to the touch-screen. If necessary, lift a corner of the screen protector nearest to an air bubble to help remove it and then reapply that corner by rubbing it down with the cloth.
- 6). Peel off the outer film layer covering the screen protector once all air bubbles have been removed. Pull away the outer film slowly and carefully so it doesn't lift the screen protector off the touch-screen.
