• Depending on the age and stage of life of your bridal party, you can make your bridesmaid dresses and groomsmen outfits gifts that they can enjoy wearing again after your wedding. Select bridesmaid dresses that are in your wedding color and yet are versatile enough to be worn, at least in part, again. If you're planning an evening wedding, buy little black dresses for your bridesmaids and dress them up with colorful flowers and jewelry that matches your wedding color theme. You can either buy tuxedos for your groomsmen or choose casual khaki pants and dress shirts that are functional enough for groomsmen to reuse. If your wedding party is fairly young they may appreciate having outfits that they can use again. Involve your wedding party, particularly the bridesmaids, in the selection of the dresses so they are sure to get something they'll enjoy but which fits with your plans as well.

• Surprise your bridal party with earrings, bracelets or necklaces, and tie tacks or cuff links that they can wear on the day of your wedding and keep as a memento of your friendship after your ceremony is over. If you share a special motto or memory with your bridesmaids and groomsmen, think of a way to shorten it and capture it with a date, phrase or significant Bible passage reference that can be monogrammed onto the back of the jewelry.

• Consider a handbag for your bridesmaids and multi-tool key chain for your groomsmen. Select a unique handbag for each bridesmaid, or, select the same style in different colors. Include a handwritten note inside of the handbag thoughtfully expressing your gratitude for each one of your bridesmaids. If you and your groomsmen all share a common connection, capture it with a short reference on a multi-tool key chain. Or, just give them the key chain tool as a practical, useful gift. Present it inside of an elegant box and include a handwritten note of thanks to each groomsmen. • On your big day everyone will be busy taking pictures of you. The night before, present your wedding party with personalized photo frames that capture treasured moments with each groomsman and bridesmaid by taking a group photo of all of you beforehand and framing them inside of a classic, solid wood or metal frame.
