Reprogram the Keyless Entry Remote

• 1). Place the key into the ignition and turn the ignition into the "on" position.
  
  
• 2). Press and hold the "unlock" button on the remote for 5 seconds.
  
  
• 3). Continue to hold the "unlock" button while pressing the "panic" button. A chime will sound from the vehicle.
  
  
• 4). Press any button on the remote to program it to the vehicle.
  
  
• 5). Turn the key into the "off" position.
  
  
• 6). Test the remote by pressing the "lock" button to see if the vehicle resonds.
  
  

Check the Battery on the Keyless Remote

• 1). Pry the two halves of the keyless remote apart by using a key or a coin.
  
  
• 2). Remove the existing battery and replace it with a new size 2016 battery.
  
  
• 3). Put the two halves of the keyless remote back together.
  
  
• 4). Test the keyless remote by placing the "lock" button to see if the vehicle responds.
