DIY: Projector Screen Out of Sheet
- 1). Choose the location that you want for your screen. You don't want it too near other lights that might wash out the image. You also don't want lights behind it, as this will make viewing difficult. To avoid this problem, hang the screen from an eave.
- 2). Measure the size that you want for your screen. To an extent, the screen will be limited by how far back you can place your projector and how powerful it is. While many people will use a single large sheet, you might find that you have room to use two sewn together king-size sheets.
- 3). Sew your sheets together (if you are using more than one). Use a grommet tool to insert eight metal grommets at the top of the screen and eight at the bottom.
- 4). Screw in eight hooks in the eave (or whatever structure you are hanging the screen from). The position of each must correspond with the top grommet holes.
- 5). Hang the screen on the hooks. Tie weights to the bottom grommets to hold the screen in place. Now position your projector and show your movie.
