Drawbacks of PayPal services
The main problem that people seem to have with PayPal is the sudden freezing of the user account, without any proper intimation. Yes, they do it without any reason. Since it is an online payment processor, it has to protect its customer. They do not even give any support people who have become victims of phishing scam emails. When you call PayPal with certain issue that you would want cleared immediately, you will only get automated responses from their customer support. This is the reason why I hate PayPal. They are not at all concerned about clarifying the doubts of the customers.
Unauthorized withdrawal
PayPal debits amount from account without any reason, and this act is like stealing money from the account. This unauthorized withdrawal makes people to lose their money, and when they contact PayPal by phone, they do not provide valid reasons for the unwanted transactions. Even though customers have an authorized credit card, PayPal takes money from the bank account. It really is shocking to me to see such a famous transaction company grabbing money from their customers.
Improper transaction methods
Usually the selling or buying activities in EBay are done through PayPal. This incident happened to a friend of mine when he bought some product on the EBay for $40. When he received bank received statement, he found that PayPal has charged double for that transaction. Then we decided to contact PayPal by phone, and they day that company can do nothing about it, and they blamed us for the fault. I hate PayPal for this very reason. They really are bullying the people who are using their services.
PayPal disputes
Day by day disputes with PayPal and EBay transaction are increasing. There are many lawsuits filed against them already. The company refunds money only if the user has registered on their €Seller Protection Program€. Or else the customer must have enough funds in their account.
When you call PayPal, it takes more than 20 days to refund your money. To resolve the dispute in eBay site, you have to register in a separate account and you have to pay $25 dollars as a handling charge.
