So here we have it.
The million-dollar question.
Do you have the discipline to be your own boss? Some people may say no I really don't have that in me, but what if I were to tell you that you do have it in you? Now it's true, you do have to have some discipline to be your own boss but even if it's something you haven't done before in your life, maybe you should think of this as a skill that needs to be learned.
So you have to attend college to learn this skill? Do you have to go to professional training of some type? Or, can you learn this on your own? I believe you can.
All you need is the right resource, some time to give yourself the opportunity to learn, and the understanding that it is going to take some time.
It's not going to happen overnight.
We are a society of immediate gratification.
You've probably heard the saying quote God grant me the patient's, just give it to me right now".
And this is very true to some extent.
Most people are somewhat impatient.
They wanted immediate success, immediate rewards, extra money right now, and to be perfectly honest this is not the way it works.
Anything worth having, is worth working for.
This is where the discipline comes in as you give yourself time to learn, time to develop your business, and time to gain the understanding needed to be successful.
I think most people can do this as long as you don't go into an opportunity with blinders on as you know, for someone to learn something it takes time and opportunity.
I know for me I need to see something, I need the opportunity to think about it and to work things out in my own mind so I can understand what I'm trying to learn.
I learned by doing.
Some people can read a book and understand everything immediately.
If you're the type of person or power to you and congratulations you're one of the few.
But if you're not one of those few lucky people and you do need something to see, something to read something that you can go over, over and over again then you're in the majority.
Now that I think about it, I'm starting to wonder exactly how much of being your own boss is discipline and how much is training.
There's got to be a mathematical combination in there somewhere but I think for most people, while discipline is part of it, I do think the proper training is necessary to educate your mind and to help you learn the discipline.
So here's the $500,000 question.
Where should you go to look for the proper training, and the proper information to not only teach you how to start and run your own business but also train you to run this business in such a way that you can be your own boss.
Well, try this.
Do a Google search and enter "online business, affiliate marketing, be your own boss" or something similar.
I think you'll find that the search will turn up pages and pages of links most of which will actually be active.
So now the question is which of these links to you check out? Well, you can start at the top link and work your way down or you can ask a friend for advice, even close your eyes and point at the screen.
I can, if you wish, offer some advice.
If you go to a website and the first thing you required to do is pull out your credit card and enter information, then you're in the wrong place.
However, if you go to a site and you are offered the opportunity to read or watch a video containing free information why not do it? Do you want an opportunistic system where you don't need a website? Don't need any experience? And don't need a product to sell? And can copy and paste? Then check this site out.
