When I came onto my computer first thing this morning and a man chatted with me on Facebook with what seemed like to me, one very clear objective in his mind, to get me to join his business! He did not seem to have any interest to find out if I was already in my own network marketing business or in any way interested in what he had to offer.
He just seemed focused on telling me about his product and the results that he had in his life.
I had never spoken to this man before and he was very persistent in his efforts to tell me about his business.
I come across this approach a lot in my online work and I have for a long time wanted to play my part in helping others to see that this approach does not work and in fact it makes 2 people really frustrated.
The person trying to make the sale and the person who is being sold to! It really is not a good selling strategy for your home business and it simply does not work.
The main reason that is does not work is that it does not respect the free will of the person that may or may not be interested in what you have to offer.
But is also does not show any respect for that person and it is firmly grounded in the feeling of lack! If you believe that there is not enough money or time then you become desperate to make more or save more and the result is that you pass that on to every body that you talk with and they can feel the desperation and it pushes them firmly away from you.
God is always teaching us what we most need to learn and it is important that we understand and respect our fellow human beings.
Because we have all made purchases that we have regretted in the past then we are very careful about getting into a home business.
It is a big step and a lot of time and money can be wasted if they get into the wrong one for them or we are not getting the right sort of guidance.
This is why the prospect must feel that you have their best interest at heart and that you will help them to have a successful business! Another reason why pushing somebody into joining your business is not productive is that fact that people do not like the way it feels to do this and it makes them very uncomfortable indeed about doing this to others in order to build their business.
Most people just say that they can't sell this way and with good reason, this is no way to sell! When you truly connect with another person and have their best interest in your heart you feel good about who you are and what you are offering, the prospect certainly gets that and knows that they can learn to do this too.
It feels good and it dissolves the resistance that is so common in home business or network marketing.
I used to think if I just kept ringing people for long enough or rang enough people then I would build my business but as long as my heart was in lack it did not seem to matter how many people I rang I still was not making sales.
I had to look at what was going on in my head and my heart and let go of the feelings of lack that seemed to be part of my makeup.
I read an article that said that the things that hurt most in life are the things that are not really you! It is so true the things we learn along the way from our parents, our siblings and our friends that we take on to be true but are really just founded in fear and do not serve us in any way at all.
Letting go of these things that we believe in seems very difficult but it is in the doing so that you are free to live according to your life's truth.
You have a truth and a life path that is unique to you and what you are resisting is leading you to what you are born to be.
This is why it is so important to deal with your resistance and move forward in the glory and the beauty that you truly are.
I hope this is making sense to you.
I realized this morning when this man spoke to me that I really needed to address the power of heart centered selling for network marketing and home business so you will be hearing more from me on this note.
