How to Remove Dents With a Plunger

    • 1). Check to make sure the dented surface does not have any loose paint chips or cracking in the metal. Plunging damaged paint could cause it to loosen even more and leave you with a worse problem.

    • 2). Wash the surface with warm, soapy water to remove any dirt, grime or greasy residue, which would otherwise make it difficult to create enough suction on the surface.

    • 3). Rinse the area with clean water and leave it wet. This will help the plunger to seal around the area.

    • 4). Stick the plunger to the surface, making sure to cover the entire dent.

    • 5). Push the plunger in as far as it will go and then pull it away quickly, making sure to pull it out in a straight motion from the dented surface. The dent should be gone, if not, try the method again.
