Hi, my name is Taylor Robbins with taylorrobbinsfitness.com and exerscribe.com. And so running a short distance and that effect on your muscle growth or building muscle is not very big. So you guys can run for 10 or even 20 minutes and as long as it's slow and like and it's like not very high intensity that's not really going to create any sort of barriers for you building muscle. Yes running long distances for a long amount of time is a catabolic exercise meaning you are creating cortisol which is a catabolic hormone. And that hormone actually breaks muscle down or breaks tissues down. So someone who's wanting to build muscle and be anabolic building, you can't do those two together. But as long as it's short and it's not for a very long time and you are kind of using it as a warm up or a cool down that's great. You are not really going to hurt yourself in building muscle too much. I hope that helps. My name is Taylor Robbins with taylorrobbinsfitness.com.
