The city of San Diego is incredibly close to the United States border with Mexico. Some of the best restaurants in town offer notable ambiance and even menu items that aren't necessarily Mexican. - Located in the Mission Hills area of San Diego, Lucha Libre Gourmet Taco Shop carries the theme of Mexican professional wrestling (lucha libre), with walls decorated with masks and photos of Mexican wrestlers, lucha libre movies playing on the TV and even select menu items named after wrestling like the Tap Out taco and the DDT Loaded Baked Potato. The restaurant offers affordable burritos, tacos and quesadillas as well as a special table called the Champion's Booth with golden plates, special table service and velvet rope that anyone can eat at, provided they reserve the booth 24 hours in advance.
