• iLocalis requires a fee to use, and it is compatible with Apple's iPhone. The program comes in both a basic and premium edition. The basic edition allows you to track the location of your cell phone and share that location with friends and family. You can also setup this software to allow your friends and family to track your location. It also allows you to remotely access your iPhone and send your phone SMS (short message service, text message) commands. The premium edition allows you to remotely backup and wipe your iPhone. It also allows you to lock your iPhone and record phone calls. iLocalis can also block anyone else from removing the software program. • This website allows you to track nearly any type of mobile phone or PDA (personal digital assistant) as long as it is GPS- or Bluetooth-enabled. You will have to download the application and install it on your mobile phone, and then you will be able to find the location of your phone in real time. Other features include the ability to save, track and share trips with others. You can view your routes on Google Earth and set up alerts. You can also view your trip stats, including how long the trip was and altitudes. You can comment on certain locations where you stopped on your trip. This is a free tool.

• The MobiWee 1.1 for Windows Mobile is a free tool that is compatible with mobile phones using the Windows Mobile operating system. The program can determine the location of your phone and then track it. It also can back up any information on the phone and then lock out anyone from using the phone. Or, for further security, the program can wipe or encrypt (password protect) any information currently stored on the phone. Other features include the ability to shutdown the phone even if the SIM (subscriber identity module) card has been taken out of the phone. MobiWee can also transfer backed up files to any cell phone. You simply need to download the software to your phone and then create an account online to start using the program.
