Port Discovery Children's Museum

• Maryland's Port Discovery Children's Museum is a full-bodied day of fun that harnesses children's natural energy and puts it to work, learning about science, principles of mathematics, role-playing careers and historic cultures, inventing contraptions and climbing around in the massive central structure.
  
  Birthday parties at Port Discovery are designed for kids age 2-10 and take place in their private party room. They can accommodate parties as large as 50 children, with several flexible pricing pans. Options like goody bags, balloon bouquets, birthday Tshirts, parking passes, return visit passes, catering, face painting and clown entertainment add to the value, but can drive the cost up. They don't supply cakes, but you can bring them into the party room. There is no refrigeration available.

Old Maryland Farm

• Old Maryland Farm at Watkins Regional park, is a teaching farm with display gardens, agricultural exhibits and livestock designed to provide a farming experience for all visitors. The farm hosts birthday parties where children get to pet the animals and learn a little bit about the work it takes to run a farm. A farm party is a fun way for kids to get fresh air and spend time with animals. Just a short walk from the farm, in the same park, is the Watkins Nature Center, the Chesapeake Carousel, and the miniature train. You can call the farm during business hours, Tuesday-Thursday to reserve birthday parties.

Medieval Times Birthday Dinner

• King Philippe has declared that all members of the birthday fellowship are to receive free admission to the feast and tournament at Medieval Times on their birthday. There's a sign-up form on their website for this discount code, and a birthday package option, which allows for group discounts and extra goodies. With the birthday package, in addition to free admission, visitors get their name announced during the show, a slice of birthday cake, a strawberry slushy in a commemorative cup, a group photo and a cheering banner.
