With many people suffering from stretch marks, the young and old, male and female and teenagers going through puberty, and it's not only limited to pregnant women or people with weight challenges

A young female friend has them on her chest, arms and legs and is understandably cautious in displaying these unsightly marks to the general public, they can make you unhappy and miserable

So how to get rid of stretch marks?

Here are some useful tips to get you started on the right track

Dry Brush or Exfoliate -

Get a dry brush, you can buy them from most drug stores or supermarkets, if you can't find one, just use a loofah

Brush or scrub the affected area before a shower or bath, what we want to do is remove the dead skin layer or surface layer of the stretch marks, do not do this on broken or damaged skin, just use your common sense

After exfoliating, you can then have your shower or bath, then moisturise or use a stretch mark cream, see list of creams below

You may have to do this a few times a week, as doing it just now and then is unlikely to have an effect, therefore exfoliate a few times a week, and apply cream regularly, preferable daily, numerous times if possible

Cream up -

There are many creams on the market specifically for treating stretch marks, here are a few

Shea butter

Cocoa butter

Vitamin e based creams

Bio oil

It's a case of trying some and see what works best for you, and be patient, we are talking weeks before we see any fading or removal of the marks, most people just give up after a few weeks, persevere and you should see results
