Lilith always believed vampires were heartless demons but Lincoln keeps proving her wrong.
There are laws against trysts between humans and vampires.
Can Lilith and Lincoln uphold them or will they succumb and put themselves in even greater danger? Heaton puts her own unique spin on the vampire world and her descriptions make the setting easy to visualize.
She has a good ear for dialogue and she knows how to keep the conflict and sexual tension mounting.
The story works because she does a great job building up the relationship between human and vampire.
Readers be forewarned, the story contains graphic violence, scenes of a sexual nature and blood play.
I was up until the wee hours anxious to see how it would all end and I will definitely be looking for past and future books in the fascinating world of the VAMPIRES REALM.
