It's traditional for a groom to purchase gifts for his groomsmen as a way of saying he appreciates them taking the time to support him during his wedding, along with renting a tuxedo and performing all the other groomsmen duties. Groomsmen's gifts are normally not too expensive, but maybe you feel that your groomsmen deserve a bit more. There are lots of options for gifts that are both expensive and will delight your best friends.

    Cigars

    • This is the perfect gift for a group of guys that enjoy fine cigars. Help fill their humidors with some nice and expensive hand-rolled cigars by purchasing an entire box of their favorite brand or type, or giving each of them an assortment of different kinds. This is a gift you can all enjoy on your wedding day and they can enjoy well into the future.

    Trip

    • Your groomsmen probably took you on a fun-filled, and possibly costly, bachelor party, so return the favor. Give each of them a hand-written note telling him how much it meant to have him around for your wedding. And in the note, let each one know that after the wedding you are footing the bill for a trip. Take them deep sea fishing, to Las Vegas or to a professional basketball game. Whatever you choose, make sure it's something they will all love and remember for years to come.

    Memorabilia

    • If your groomsmen are into sports, you can buy each one a piece of memorabilia. If they all love the same team, then your job is easier. If not, just tailor the gift to each of them. For example, if one groomsman loves University of Alabama football, you can get him a football autographed by legendary quarterback Joe Namath. Maybe another groomsman is a golf fanatic--for him, you can purchase a golf club used by longtime professional golfer Tom Watson.

    Cuff Links

    • Cuff links are a traditional gift for groomsmen. Purchase ones that they can wear with their tuxedos or suits on your wedding day. But rather than going with the least expensive ones in the store, get them exquisite ones that they will be happy to wear beyond your wedding. Choose sleek white-gold cuff links, or some that have jewels in the center. Have the cuff links engraved with each groomsman's initials.
