    A Walk in the Woods

    • Legendary golfer Gary Player designed the 18 holes of Bent Creek Golf Village’s course, which lies 11 miles from downtown Gatlinburg. Surrounded by mature trees, the first nine holes of this par 72 course run along a green valley with wildflowers. The second nine follow the contours of the mountainside. The course has a golf shop, tuition is available from Professional Golfers’ Association members and the Creek Side grill serves drinks and snacks.

    • Set in a log cabin dating from 1939, The Greenbrier Restaurant offers fine dining and has a private room with a capacity of 25 for special occasions.     Aerial Tramway to Ober Gatlinburg

    • For unforgettable views, take the aerial tramway from downtown Gatlinburg 2 miles up the mountainside to the resort of Ober Gatlinburg, 2,700 feet above sea level on top of Mount Harrison. The cable car travels every 20 minutes and the journey time is 10 minutes. Once there, you can enjoy indoor ice skating and water raft rides. In winter, go snow tubing, skiing or snowboarding.
