How to Scan With a USB Print Server Network
- 1). Connect the Ethernet cable to the scanner's Ethernet output connection. Plug the other end of the Ethernet cable into the USB Print Server Network device.
- 2). Plug a USB cable into one of the available USB ports on the Print Server Network and connect the other end into one of the computer's available USB ports. Repeat this step with all of the computers.
- 3). Insert the power adapter into the USB Print Server and plug it into the wall outlet. This will power on the device.
- 4). Insert the driver installation disk into a computer. This will launch the installation wizard. Follow the prompts until the driver is installed. Repeat this with all of the computers connected to the USB Print Server.
- 5). Power on the scanner and place the document you want scanned onto the glass panel of the scanner. Close the lid.
- 6). Open the program which you use to scan documents on a computer connected to the USB Print Server Network. Select "File" then "Scan." The program will perform a pre-scan to show you what the image will look like. Adjust the document in the scanner, if need be, and click "Scan." The document will now be scanned onto the computer.
