How to Get a Horse on "Howrse" to Give Birth
- 1). Offer your mare for covering by clicking on the "Covering" button under "Reproduction" on the right side of the screen.
- 2). Select another owner's male horse as a sire. The game encourages you to choose a horse with complementary characteristics to your mare in order to breed a horse with good genetics. Different sires cost different amounts of in-game currency, called "equus," depending on their genetics.
- 3). Age the mare by eight months. This is done by following the normal course of game activities (training, grooming, riding, bedding, etc.) and either waiting for four days of real time or spending an aging point each night.
- 4). Click "Ultrasound" in the "Reproduction" area at the right of the screen. This will tell you what gender and characteristics the foal will have.
- 5). Age the mare by another four months.
- 6). Click "Veterinarian" in the "Reproduction" area to have the mare give birth. The vet costs 200 equus. If the birth is successful, the foal will appear in the "My Horses" link under the "Breeding" menu at the top of the screen.
