How to Make a Place Card
- 1
Measure 2 x 3-inch rectangles onto a sheet of card stock paper. Using a sheet of 8.5 x 11-inch card stock paper, you should be able to make 12 place cards on each sheet of card stock. Draw lines as shown with the ruler and the pencil. - 2). Cut carefully along the lines made in Step 1. Make as many place cards as you will need for your guests.
- 3). Fold each place card in half so that you have a 1 x 3-inch place card. Crease the fold well to make it a sharp fold.
- 4). Write each guest's name on the place card using the marker. You may want to lightly write the name in pencil first to make sure that it is centered as you want it and you don't make any mistakes. Copy over the pencil with the marker when you are satisified with your results.
- 5). Add any embellishments as desired. You can simply glue small pictures or die-cuts onto the place cards to make them look as you wish.
- 6). Allow the place cards to dry if you glued embellishments and then place them onto the plates on the dinner table.
