Unfortunately, such requests overlook one reality: English is the first language spoken by people in lots of countries outside of the short list mentioned.
Looking for a native English speaker, for example, could connect you with writers from the Philippines, Pakistan, India, Kenya, and many other places around the world.
In fact, English is spoken by more people on the globe than any other language, except for some variations of Chinese.
What does this mean for people seeking copywriters who have a strong grasp of the English language? It means they could be spending more than necessary for the job they want done.
Because of the high cost of living in these sought after countries, writers are forced to charge higher amounts for writing.
On the other hand, a native English speaker from one of these other countries may be able to charge much less for the same work and deliver comparable quality content.
