Perhaps you've been asked to write the article by the site's editor - if so, then follow the instructions you've been given exactly.

Outline the steps of the process you're describing Next, make a list of the steps of the process you're describing in your article.
This list is your outline.
Decide whether you'll be using graphics.
Will you be using screen captures, photographs, or other visual material? If you are, prepare them now.
Number the files, so you know in which order to include them in the article.
