Aging Well - How You Can Take Control and Stop the Clock From Racing On!
'Isn't she aging well?' was frequently a remark I heard them make.
Obviously, if a person had got by without too many wrinkles or did not have sagging skin, well, they would pass the test with flying colors.
If the women in question had not passed the test, well there was a remark such as 'the years are there'! That always sounded a little foreboding to me.
Are we aging well? Personally speaking, if my parents were alive to-day, I would hope to pass the test! Of course, lifestyle would also play a part, diet, drinking water and exercise, no smoking and not too much exposure to the sun.
As we were living in Ireland, sun damage was hardly a problem! Seriously though, now that we have reached the third millennium, one would have thought that aging well would hardly be a problem, given the advances in skincare.
We would be wrong and naive to think that, I am afraid.
Let me explain.
The skincare industry is still using the parabens which they started using back in the 1920s.
They were and still are using them to preserve products such as hair conditioners, shampoos and anti wrinkle creams from going mouldy on the shelves.
That was almost a hundred years ago.
As yet there is no proper regulation about the use of harmful and synthetic chemicals in skin products so this leaves us with quite a few worries.
Medical advances have been made and tests have been done on the parabens and all the others though.
I am afraid they have not passed the test at all.
Harmful compounds such as fragrance, mineral oils, paraffin wax, liquid paraffin and methylparaben are now regarded with a lot of suspicion as they are linked with all sorts of illnesses.
Surely aging well cannot be so difficult.
Thankfully, some companies are streets ahead and they have developed products for aging well which are actually in the vanguard.
They have used natural organic ingredients and have promised NOT to use synthetics in the processing.
There are ingredients which are nano emulsions and also which are so skin friendly that they are perfectly safe.
That means peace of mind.
These are probably the safest skincare products in the world.
Why not click through and see for yourself.
Take the guesswork out of aging well.
