How to Get Started With Autoresponders

If you are just starting out with your online business, it is important that you set up an autoresponder and start building a list.
If you don't do this, you will make your job much harder and end up leaving a lot of money on the table in the long run.
Getting started with an autoresponder is really quick and simple due to all the advances in technology.
The first thing you will need to do is find a service that offers you what you need.
In my opinion, aweber is one of the best services to go with.
Once you sign up, you need to create a web form that you can put on your website to collect email addresses.
Most services offer pre-made forms that you can use.
A simple copy and paste and it will appear on your website or blog.
Once you have that set up, you will need to set up the emails that will go into your autoresponder.
I suggest creating at least 6 months worth of emails that can automatically go out to your readers.
If you want to take it up a notch, go ahead and create a year's worth of emails in advance.
If you send out an email once a week, that is only 52 emails.
Now just go and copy and paste all your emails into your follow-up series.
Space them out to go out every 7 days.
You now have an autoresponder that will stay in touch with your clients and customers for you automatically.
In order to get people to join your list, you could offer them something for free in exchange for their name and email address.
Most people use some sort of free report.
Make sure the report is related to your topic and offers a ton of value.
When someone signs up for your list, you will immediately send him his first email, which will be a link for him to download his free report.
From that point on, the subscribers will receive weekly emails from you.
If you set up your autoresponder the right way, you will have no problem creating a constant stream of income on autopilot.
This will free up your time and allow you to focus on other tasks that must be done in order to generate traffic to your website or blog.
I know it sounds like a lot of work now, but after you have used your autoresponder for a couple of months, you will start to see just how beneficial it really is.
