"I"m Working Out, But I Don"t Lose Weight" - Could That Be You? Are You Sabotaging Your We
Is your weight loss stagnating although you are working out regularly? Or can't you lose weight although you spend time and effort on your exercise routine? There are some common mistakes that will waste all your sweat and effort:
If you review that on a weekly basis you will see immediately where things go wrong.
A good weight loss programm will help you do to do that and provide either forms on paper or other means to track your progress online.
- Eating more calories.
This is actually the most common one, and the reason I hear very often is "as long as I'm burning the calories by exercising I can eat".
This is not really true.
First of all, if you want to lose weight you have to burn more calories than you are taking in.
And second, most people overestimate the amount of calories they burn while exercising and underestimate the amount of calories in their food.
So: When on a weight loss program, watch what you are eating. - Resting more.
You might feel exhausted after a workout- and that's a good sign.
After all, it means your body has got a challenge, and challenging your body will eventually lead to a slim figure.
But: If you rest too long, you are sabotaging your efforts.
You need to stay active after a workout- just pretend you haven't worked out and continue with your usual routine.
- Performing the same exercise program day in and day out.
Your body needs different challenges to grow- if you present your body with only one exercise routine, your body adapts to it.
So, have variations in your plan.
I recommend including strength training, cardio and stretching.
This will give you a variety of exercises to do- and your workouts will become less boring too.
If you review that on a weekly basis you will see immediately where things go wrong.
A good weight loss programm will help you do to do that and provide either forms on paper or other means to track your progress online.
