    • 1). Drink at least eight glasses of water a day. Water helps flush the system of toxins by giving the toxins somewhere to leave the body. Eight glasses of water is the average amount most men and women need to remain hydrated.

    • 2). Exercise daily. This is not only good for overall health, but it gets the blood circulation going and improves lymphatic functioning. Movement allows the lymphatic system to function properly while idleness causes it to stop working. A strong lymphatic system will automatically detoxify the body.

    • 3). Eat fish oil. The amino acids found in fish oils can improve health, especially heart health, and help the heart and body heal from the negative effects of hydrogenated oils.

    • 4). Cook with coconut oil. Coconut oil is full of healthy properties and, since it is high in saturated fats, high heat does not cause it to hydrogenate like oils that are high in unsaturated fats.

    • 5). Avoid foods that have hydrogenated oils. The only way to completely detoxify the hydrogenated oil is to stop consuming it. Only then can the body work on removing the toxins.
