Tips on Treating Diabetes

I would like to share to you some of my tips on treating diabetes.
The American Diabetes Association recommend that diabetics should take 50% carbohydrates, 30% fats and 20 % proteins in their daily diet.
Why? Here's why.
Protein stabilizes blood sugars all throughout a day, provides amino acids that is used for skeletal muscle fuel and provide a feeling of satiety at meal times.
Proteins also help the body rebuild and provide nutrients that are not in carbohydrates and fats.
Foods that have a lot protein include meats, cheeses, soy, nuts, beans and lentils.
The type of protein that a diabetic would choose does not matter as long as that he or she eat some each day to maintain the benefits that protein brings.
With regards to fats.
Meats, cheeses and nuts already have fats so you can get two benefits for with only one type of food.
With carbohydrates, one fruit exchange is already equal to one carbohydrate.
An example would be, one small apple or ½ cup of orange juice.
One starch exchange is also one carbohydrate.
One slice of bread, ½ cup cooked cereal and ½ of a medium baked potato would be examples of these.
With vegetables it is another story.
Vegetables are low in carbohydrates so ½ cup of a lot of non-starchy vegetables will amount to 5 grams of carbohydrates.
1 ½ cups of broccoli would equal one carbohydrate choice.
Another example is that eight ounces of low fat milk and sugar free yogurt is also one carbohydrate choice.
Hope you get those food talk right.
Another tip I would give is to treat diabetes by combining conventional and alternative medication.
One alternative medication that would be advisable is Hyperbaric oxygen treatment.
Hyperbaric oxygen treatment is a U.
S.
FDA approved and already a lot of diabetics have tried it.
The medication involves putting patients in a sealed hyperbaric chamber inhaling 100% pure oxygen.
The oxygen is pressurized 1.
5 to 3 times normal atmospheric pressure in order for oxygen to be inhaled faster.
Sessions usually last less than an hour so it is just not safe it is also not time consuming.
What is more better about it is that hyperbaric chambers are accessible due to the fact that they can now be bought and rent to bring inside your home.
You would not need to travel for the treatment.
You can get it right at your own home and any time of the day you want.
These hyperbaric chambers are also very easy to operate with single bag chambers being able to be operated solo and double bag with only two people.
So what's not to like about it? Right? So, I just give you some real good tips on treating diabetes.
I do hope this has helped you in any way.
Hope we all have a healthy life!
