Would You Spend $900 on a Travel System?
Admittedly, the new Orbit Baby infant travel system looks pretty cool. In addition to looks, Orbit's designers have created a travel system that is easy to use, requiring less skill to install the car seat properly in a vehicle, and featuring soft carrying handles and an easier docking system when it's time to join the infant carrier and base together again. All that design ingenuity comes at a price many parents feel is too steep, though.
The Orbit Baby travel system comes in at just under $900, and the infant seat holds a baby up to 22 pounds or 29 inches. The stay-in-vehicle base will also work with the upcoming Orbit toddler car seat, which will be sold separately.
This travel system certainly looks promising in terms of convenience, and it's far more stylish than some other infant travel systems on the market today. But are many parents willing to spend the $900 it takes to buy an Orbit Baby stroller and infant car seat? Use the comments link below to share your thoughts on this unique infant travel system.
