Toilet Train Cats to Go on the Home Lavatory

The methods I am mentioning will not work with every single cat however most take to this very well.
To get your cat using it's litterbox you must experiment with different types of litter.
This is because they can be very fussy to the different textures and feel and even smell.
Your pet will definitely let you know which he/she prefers.
When you have that preference what you should do is rub its paws on the litter so that it is familiar with its own scent being left.
If you own more than one kitty you should have one more box than there are cats.
Therefore if you own 2 kitties you should have 3 boxes.
Many people make the mistake of not making it obvious where their toilets are.
Some owners put boxes in areas of the house that the pet doesn't normally go into.
If you make it accessible to your pets then they will use their lavatory instead of the sofa, beds or even the carpets.
In order to toilet train cats to use the normal lavatory at home you place the cat's toilet bowl right next to the normal lavatory.
After a few days you add books under its latrine so that it is the same height as the home toilet.
Then after one week you remove the cat's latrine and it should start using the normal home toilet.
I hope this helped.
Remember this method doesn't work with all little tigers and if you do not succeed with this method you should try a different technique.
