    • 1). Call the customer care center of your credit card provider in order to notify the department of your intent to stop credit card payment protection. Your credit card provider will ask you for your personal contact information, as well as the credit card number for which you want to stop the payment protection.

    • 2). Write an email to send to the customer care department explaining your desire to end credit card payment protection. The email address of your customer center is usually located on the website of your credit card company in the "Contact Us" section.

    • 3). Send a signed letter to your credit card company that clearly states your intent to stop credit card payment protection on your account. The letter must be signed by all users of the credit card.

    • 4). Stop paying your credit card payment protection plan after you have relayed your desire to quit the service. You can access your credit card account and stop the automatic payment that is deducted from your card each month. For example, if you quit the service in the middle of the month, you would cancel the automatic payment from occurring at the first of the next month. Your credit company will not continue the service if you do not pay.
