How to Make Inexpensive Luggage Tags
- 1). Cut a piece of thin cardboard into a strip that is 1.5 inches wide by 8 inches long.
- 2). Peel the backing off two address labels and attach them to the cardboard, 1/2 inch from each end.
- 3). Write your phone number beneath the address labels.
- 4). Cover the strip of cardboard with shipping tape on both sides; this will make your luggage tag waterproof.
- 5). Fold the luggage tag in half so that your address labels are facing outward on both sides.
- 6). Slip the tag around the handle of your suitcase or duffel bag and secure it in place with another piece of shipping tape.
