International Drive Orlando
International Drive in Orlando is one of Florida's top destination's for tourist's and it's easy to see why.
You'll find over 150 restaurant's, each with it's own unique theme. You see International drive does not do 'boring' when it come's to eating out. Just driving along this wonderful road you'll be amazed at some of the site's you'll see. Restauant's like 'Bahama Breeze', 'Tutu Tango', and 'Olive Garden' are just some of the many restaurant's that will catch your eye. There are restaurant's to suit every budget from $5.99 all you can eat buffet's to $60.00 steak's at the amazing 'Charlie's Steakhouse'.
For a great breakfast you will find no better than the reasonably priced 'Golden Corral buffet'. Fried chicken and pizza for breakfast never tasted so good.
If it's Orlando's attraction's that interest you then International Drive couldn't be more central. Universal Studio's and Seaworld are both on opposite end's of the drive as well as Seaworld's newest park 'Aquatica'. Wet 'n' Wild is another water park also situated on International Drive. Disney World is as close as a 15 minute drive away.
There are many smaller attraction's on the drive including 'Wonderwork's'. You'll not miss this attraction as it is situated in a very large upside down house. Another building that stand's out is 'Ripley's Believe It Or Not'. This rather crooked building is great fun with many funny and unexpected surpise's inside.
Transportation on International Drive is made simple with the I-Ride trolly service. You pay $1.50 per ride no matter how far you travel. The trolly (which is more like a tram), come's regularly and run's the whole length of International Drive. You can also by weekly or 2 week ticket's which are a great way of saving money if you are going to use it often. A 2 week ticket cost's $18. Children under 12 ride free.
If you fancy something a little different you could hop on one of the many 3 wheel bike taxis that travel up and down past the many restaurant's at night. You just pay these friendly guy's whatever you feel you want to as they don't have a set fair.
