I have to say that Whirlpool is first on my list of excellent appliances.
This American-style refrigerator-freezer is really no exception.
To start with, it looks great! It is very sleek and stylish and it will surely match any kitchen.
Keeping the outside squeaky clean is also quite a breeze.
Although at some point fingerprints and blotches also show.
One big reason to buy this fridge is the ice-maker.
It was a great idea since it saves space for ice trays and you can be sure that iced cold drinks will be available anytime of the day.
Another good point of the Whirlpool is the temperature display and the open door alarm, a brilliant work of art I may say.
But then, there are some downsides to this high quality fridge.
One of which is the freezer compartment.
I find it a bit small, but even so there is still an ample storage just for daily shopping needs.
On the other hand there are a lot of space for bottles and jars on the fridge door and a couple of vegetable compartments (hurray for the vegetarians) but since the shelves are narrow, especially the dairy compartment, it might give the impression that the consumer will not get much refrigerator space.
I would love to recommend this refrigerator but I don't feel that it will be suitable for a large family.
And before I forget, a number of customers have criticized that this refrigerator -freezer is so noisy it keeps them up in the evening.
