How to Make Bloody Bubble Gum
- 1). Purchase round or oval bubble gum in removable twist wrappers. The Dubble Bubble brand works well.
- 2). Unwrap a piece of gum and save the wrapper. Make a hole at least a half inch deep on the end side of the gum piece by pushing in the pointed end of a clean metal nail.
- 3). Put several tablespoons of red food coloring in an aluminum pan. Dry it in a 200 degree oven for 30 minutes. This will result in a non-toxic colored food powder.
- 4). Use the end of the nail to put a small amount of the food powder inside the hole in the gum. Take a small piece of another piece of gum to plug up the hole. Press on it to make it flush with the side of the gum.
- 5). Roll the gum back up in its original wrapper. Offer the trick bubble gum to your friends for a bloody treat.
